Event Description:
21st Annual, Washington State Relay Championships. 1st 100 entered teams will receive free buffet and soft drink at the finish. Low key and racer friendly 11-person run team relay, 152 miles; 7-person walk relay team, 100 miles.
TEAM CAPTAINS CAN REGISTER TEAMMATES USING THE TEAM CODE THEY ESTABLISH, ALL WITHIN THE TEAM PRICING AND CATEGORY. Later additions can be made using login code. STRUCTURE.
Entry includes collector quality colored t-shirts with original NW art, commemorative finisher medals, awards and other amenities. Each runner and walker completes 3 legs in relay sequence. Route is on secondary roads through scenic areas of SW Washington. Terrain is mostly flat and rolling, no major hills. 33 legs range from 2+ to 6+ miles, determined by safe exchange areas. traffic controllers used at key points and exchanges. |

A midnight breakfast-shower-rest stop at Elma H. S. mid-point. Showers at end also, at North Beach H. S.. Finish area is just off the beach at Ocean shores. Beer garden at Shilo near finish. Awards function at 5PM Saturday.
Course Marshals from teams volunteer pool will be used mostly only during daylight hours on the course, at and near the Start and Finish. Area groups are to be hired as Traffic Controllers and in most night exchange locations. These are given a substantial donation for their efforts.
