Event Description:
1/2 MAR. RUN & 5 MILE RUN START IS 8:30AM
(brochure shows both 8:30 & 9AM in error)
1/2 Mar. Fitness Walk early start @ 8:00AM for 13.5 min. per mile or over pace (course outside park closes at 11AM (includes water stations, volunteers, flaggers). All entrants pace must accomodate closure schedule.
All routes on nearly flat park roads, paths and country roads (One good but short hill on 1/2 Mar. route.
Awards to top 3 Overall M/F 1st Place Masters M/F and 3 deep in 14 M/F age groups. Entry fee includes dri-release t-shirt and commemorative medal to all. Shirt size exchanges allowed after race only. |

Assembly area in Champoeg State Heritage Area, Oak Grove Day Use Section. Start/Finish are at end of pavement of lane north toward Willamette River, allowing use area use without interfering with other users of the Oak Grove circular park sections and vehicle traffic.
Carpoolling suggested. $3 park entry fee included in reg. fee. 4 Water Stations on 1/2 Mar course (2.5 mi., 4.9 mi., 7.7 mi., 10.5 mi.; and at 2.5 of 5 Mile course). See brochure on web site for driving directions and map to the park.
