Event Description:
The Rock 'n Relay. Say it out loud. What do you think of? Music, running, walking, fun, beer, food and hanging out with friends all day right? Right?! And that is exactly what you got these last two years. Running or walking with friends, tons of great up-and-coming local bands, great food and tasty beer.
Now, in its third year, you are getting all that and so much more! The Rock n Relay is now part of Music Fest Northwest! If you and your friends enter into the relay, not only do you get a full days worth of fun running or walking in a great race, listening to great music, drinking beer and eating great food, you get a super discounted bracelet into 4 days of music that takes place all over Portland as part of MFNW!
We changed the location to the most amazing park in Portland, Mt. Tabor, with its beautiful tree lined roads, beautiful views all around, and the natural amphitheater that was once the crater.

ABOUT THE KIDS EVENT:
There is no Kid's race for this event. However, there is a full day's worth of cool stuff for kids. Face Painting, Caricature art, Balloons, bounce houses and more!
ABOUT MUSICFEST NW:
Sponsored by Willamette Week, MFNW began in 2001 as a homegrown replacement for the Texas-inspired North by Northwest music industry conference. This year we will feature a variety of national, international, regional and local acts all showcased at different clubs throughout town. While Musicfest NW will feature a fair amount of hip-hop and umpteen varieties of folk/singer-songwriter hybrids, the focus is squarely on rock music. |
